Subject: Objectives of the VBOA

The VBOA would like to commence an effort of planning objectives, scheduling of events and activities for 2012.

The beginning of this process is to have each member provide a list of three (3) objectives you feel the VBOA should be considering for implementation.

After a list is completed and accepted by the members, then a work plan will be developed to accomplish our objectives within the next 30 days.

CAP Fund Raiser “Fill a Keg for CAP” located at Floyd’s.

Donate your non-perishable food in the kegs in front of Floyd’s. Floyd’s will donate $50.00 to CAP for every food filled keg!

3:00-6:00         The Hanger - Hot Chocolate & Axa Equitable, James Healy will serving “Irish Coffee.”

3:00-6:30         Crossroads Liquor – Sample Beer & Wine by Parley Lake Winery

3:30-7:30         Salon SPAtoria – Annual Holiday Boutique/Ugly Sweater Event. Wear a “Festive Sweater” and enjoy some Christmas shopping! Door prizes & Treats. First 25 guests receive a gift bag.

3:45                 Fresh Season Market - Carolers welcome Santa. Arrives by Fire truck greets children tours downtown and heads over to School of the Wise.

4:00-5:30       Christmas Stories – by Kelly Leen (location to be announced)

4:00-5:30         Holy Family Voices of Fire - Carolers performing at the School of the Wise

4:00-5:30         School of the Wise – Children visit Santa, enjoy Treats & Hot Chocolate by the fire. Pictures with Santa will be provided by Dolce Studios

4:00-9:00     Roulette’s Pizza - Pizza Special Night. Family size 1 topping pizza & 8 breadsticks for $14.99. Call 952-443-4644 mention code 1203. Roulette’s will donate $25 to CAP on 1 filled Keg.

5:45                 “Buddy” the Elf leads Santa over for Tree lighting.  Carolers lead group caroling.

6:00                 Tree Lighting by Mayor, Mary Hershberger Thun, short speech and light tree. Drawing for prizes immediately following tree lighting. Winners must be present to win.
